NOLAN AT 2 YEARS
NOLAN'S 2 YEAR UPDATE
Weight: 28lbs measured at the Doctor on 10/07/14 (2 Year Checkup) (50th %)
Height: 37.5" (>100% = Off the Charts!)
Clothes Size: 2T or 3T shirts, 2T pants
Diaper Size: 5 (Huggies Snug & Dry)
Sleeping Patterns: Nolan is still sleeping through the night (8:00PM - 7:00 or 8:00AM). He is still taking a 1- 2 hr nap in the afternoon as well - Hope this continues for a while after the baby gets here too :).
Milestones: Teething: Nolan still has only16 teeth and his 2 year molars are working their way in as well. Nolan still runs EVERYWHERE and can climb our stairs very well - he is also able to walk down the stairs holding the railing... with Mommy, Daddy or Aunt Mel close by. He can climb on about anything that he wants to... he has climbed out of his crib a couple of times - but Mommy moved it away from the big bed and that has stopped... for now at least. Nolan moved into his new big boy (Cowboy) room last month in order to get ready for baby brother. He is still in his crib for the time being. Eating is still going great - he has mastered using a spoon and a fork. His favorite food right now is cantaloupe and peanut butter/jelly sandwiches and his least favorite is still green beans. Nolan is talking more and more. He will say and repeat (when he is in the mood) lots of words and phrases - "Mama, Daddy, Papa, Mimi, Uh-oh, I do, NO, I go, All done, Meas (Please), Tractor, Truck, Car, Two, Baby, Cheese, Teeth, Up, Down, I see you, There you Are, Gotcha! etc." He can also make several animal sounds - Our favorites are the Cow, Pig & Chicken - just ask him! Nolan LOVES to brush his teeth and usually acts like it is a treat to do so. Nolan still LOVES trucks - he usually tells me "Trucks" when I ask him what he dreamed about last night. Nolan just had a big 2 YEAR Truck Birthday party at our house at the end of September. He was very excited to eat "Cupcake" and run around the backyard with friends.
Favorite Memory this Month: As we are getting everything everything ready for baby brother to arrive, Nolan has been quite curious about all of the baby gear we are pulling out. When we tell him what it is for, he will usually walk up to it, pat it and say "Baby" or give it a hug and say "Awwww". Can't wait for our boys to meet :).
We love you sweet boy and can't believe you are already TWO! We have so cherished these past two years and can't wait to see what the future holds for you and our family.

14/52 :: EASTER
I am extremely behind in my picture every week posting... here is Easter. Poor Nolan was running a fever all weekend - but still was a good sport and checked out his goodies while we took this sweet picture. I love this basket... it was my Mom's when she was a little girl and then mine growing up and now it belongs to Nolan :).

12/13 WEEK UPDATE
Time for those pregnancy updates again... I am not promising there will be as many as last time... but I am going to do my best :)
How Far Along: 13 Weeks tomorrow - Photo taken at 12 weeks
Size of baby: Baby is the size of a peach - 3"long
The Bad: Nausea - although it has not been as bad as with Nolan and still pretty TIRED.
Maternity Clothes: I just gave in about a week ago and decided to start wearing maternity pants/shorts - just too uncomfortable not to.
Gender: We should find out around 20 weeks... (We may have a "sneak peek" at 16 weeks.)
Sleep: I am getting up at least once to use the bathroom each night - I know this will only get worse... Other than that I am sleeping pretty well so far.
Movement: Nothing yet - can't wait :).
What I miss: Having more energy.
Cravings: No real cravings this time that I can tell... I have been eating a lot of cereal... but I always do that. No food aversions yet either really - I thought the Mexican aversion was going to come back, but (to Josh's relief) it seems to be tolerable this time.
Symptoms: Nausea and a little heartburn has started... Tums are my friend at night.
Best Moment this week: Hearing the baby's heartbeat (159) at my Dr. Appt. Always such a sweet sound :).
